In 1896, theyjoined forces to form the partnership that later on made a big name inthe world of musical instruments.When they first teamed up in New York, Campbell was a machinistwho had made several genius machines using wood and iron while Kohlerwas a piano maker and was also considered a genius in factory managementand business.
